Unable to find parts for a 1970 Ampeg B15S, the idea for Fliptops Ampeg parts was born.   Started in 1998 in Pelham NY, Fliptops moved back to our hometown of Buffalo NY in 2001.   Once back in Buffalo, owner Bruce Michielli contacted his good friend and craftsman Dave Gilmet to help in expanding their offerings to include quality cabinets and speaker repair. 

We are constantly looking to expand our parts selection and improve on our current parts listings. Our philosophy is pretty simple.  If we wouldn't use a part with confidence in our repair shop or on our own amps then we won't offer it to our customers.  Our customer service is as "old school" as our parts. if there is an issue with an order we'll do  our best to make  it right.

Where do we get our parts?

At Fliptops, we work hard to supply parts first local and within the USA. Approximately 75% of what we offer is made in USA.  A good portion of parts for the vintage Ampegs have been unavailable for decades. Where possible we have retooled to re-manufacture these parts.
